2 Buck Tuesdays

We're loving the 2 Buck Tuesdays in August at Thanksgiving Point. Nearly each Tuesday we went with our good friends. One time it was the Dinosaur Museum, next the Children's Gardens and I took the kids to the big gardens (my favorite). It was busy and crowded but super fun. We spent a good part of each day there, walking around, eating our lunch, buying fudge...yummm. Until next year.

Wahoo! Miss Savannah turns 2!

I can't believe my little Savannah is 2 already. She is so busy and grown up in so many ways. We were happy to have the Utah family over for her little pink & brown celebration.

I was so proud of her cake that I made. 4 layer with homemade chocolate frosting. Yummm-o!

Oquirrh Mountain Temple

We have been so blessed lately to have the opportunity to tour 2 new temples in our area. First the Draper Temple and now the Oquirrh Mountain Temple. The kids and I had gone previously but Louis' hadn't seen it so we went again. This time unfortunately it was closer to the end of the tour dates and it was way packed. We waited almost an hour just to get inside the Temple. Of course it is beautiful and quiet inside and Savannah had to lose it while going up the stairs when traffic was at a stand still. So, nice lady in line who came to our rescue with a dum dum lollipop.....thank you sooo much!

Cousin Tyler

Cousin Tyler came for a visit from Florida in July and we were excited to have him here. He is the oldest cousin on Louis' side so there is quite an age difference as seen in the photos. However, that doesn't stop Tyler from having tons of fun with his little cousins. He gets down and plays hard with them and they ALL have a great time when he comes. The older boys love staying up all night playing video games, the girls have fun playing with him, I love hearing him play the piano so beautifully....it was a fun visit!

We Love the Gateway!

We love going to the Gateway in the heat of the summer for some free summer fun! The fountain is awesome and a great way to cool off. Savannah was scared of it when it went high but loved watching it.

Days of '47 Preview

We decided at the last minute to go to the Days of '47 float preview. We brought our friend Sara along and had a great time checking out all the floats. What imagination, creativity and hours of work go into those! Afterwards we went to Sonic for slushies. It was a great way to spend a hot summer afternoon.

Ha ha ha....we thought the KFC float was a hoot!

Draper Days Parade

This was McKenna's 2nd year that she was in the Draper Days Parade. This year the girls got matching shirts and sat in the trailer again. All I can say is hot hot hot, but it is fun fun fun!
